Other: Orville was a lineal descendant of Revolutionary War hero Ethan Allen. After being baptized during the year of the Mormon War, Orville was disinherited by his father. He moved to Nauvoo in 1840 and eventually owned three city lots.

1 Jan 1846: Nauvoo. He was ordained a seventy in 1845. He and Jane were endowed in the Nauvoo Temple on 5 Jan. 1846.

1850: Kanesville, Pottawattamie, Iowa a farmer. He plurally married Susan Ward 28 Jan. 1848 and Elizabeth Burkett 4 Aug. 1850.

1860: A farmer in Spanish Fork, Utah, Utah with $150 real estate and $600 personal wealth, below and above average respectively to his neighbors. 

1870: Brick maker in Toquerville, Kane, Utah with $1000 real estate and $400 personal, average and above average respectively to his neighbors. 

1880: A stonemason in Springdale, Kane, Utah.

Family: Died 12 Nov. 1893 in Pima, Graham, Arizona. During his life he had three wives (two plural) and fifteen children.

Synopsis: The Allen's came to Utah in 1852. They settled Springville (1853), Spanish Fork (1860), Toquerville (1870), Kanab (?), Springdale (1880), and Pima, Arizona (1890). Orville was the influential probate judge of Kane County, Utah for more than twenty years.
